PMD Coatings (Malta) Ltd, formerly Hempel (Malta) Ltd, was founded in 1960 as a joint venture with Hempel A/S, Denmark to manufacture and distribute Hempel products in Malta. Today the company produces and distributes Hempel products under licence and is one of the island’s leading paint manufacturers, supplying decorative, protective and marine coatings to local markets.
